Who we are looking for:
We are looking for an experienced Community Manager who lives and breathes social media, social trends and all things consumer. The ideal candidate will be accountable for interacting with our community and cultivating a positive, diverse, and inclusive environment that enhances user engagement and retention. Success in this role requires a mix of creativity, strategic acumen, and strong communication abilities.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategy across all platforms to foster loyalty and growth. This includes creating content, scheduling, community engagement, and post campaign reporting.
- Create, curate, and distribute video, graphic, and static content across all social media platforms.
- Regularly monitor community feedback and online reviews, providing detailed reports and actionable insights to our team.
- Attend industry or Partner events and capture content to increase engagement and brand visibility.
- Work closely with marketing, product, and support teams to ensure consistent and cohesive brand messaging. This includes collaborating with Marketing and PR to amplify UGC content.
- Act as the primary point of contact for community inquiries and concerns, ensuring a positive experience for all community members.
- Track and analyze community performance metrics to identify trends and insights, using data to inform strategy adjustments and improvements. Reporting on growth, engagement and user sentiment.
- Nurture relationships with key community ambassadors and brand advocates to expand our reach.
- Understand and comply with industry trends, best practices, and compliance regulations (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM Act) to ensure content is effective and compliant.
Requirements:
A minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Community Manager in multiplatform storytelling, including creating and programming content on various platforms including, digital, video, social etc., with a strong portfolio of successful community initiatives. Deep enthusiasm and knowledge of social media and sports culture Strong experience of growing audiences, partnering on creative execution and creating brand-appropriate digital content Experience with social media management tools and Google Analytics. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Strong collaboration, team-first mentality, prioritization, and adaptability skills required Ability to generate revenue driven from content. Thrives in a high-energy, start-up environment Must be based in New York City or Los Angeles
